The World’s Smallest Full HD Camcorder!

Friday, August 10th, 2007

HDC_SD7_350.jpgIt’s the newly announced Panasonic HDC-SD7. In the highest setting it records in 1920 x 1080 (13 Mbps CBR). In the lowest, 1440 x 1080 (9 Mbps and 6 Mbps). It records to a SD Card (4GB card included). It’s got optical image stabilization and a “Pre-record” memory cache of 3 seconds. It’s sweet! And, small (2.05″ x 4.3″ x 3.4″)!
Now, are you ready for the punchline? it costs 140,000 Yen. Yes, Yen. Right now it’s only going to be released in Japan (Sept. 8). If it’s ever released in America, expect it to run about $1200.
