Hello World! New and Improved Blog Incoming!

by Adi Rabinovich

Black and Pink TV
Hello there!

I am thrilled to be your New Host for all things PVR and Digital Video. I have been playing around with Video Streaming, Pausing, Rewinding, Fetching, Compressing, Storing and more long before DVRs and PVRs existed and probably before Tivo was even conceived!

Now, following this modest Intro, here are some of the things in store:

Lots of fancy acronyms, you say? You’re right !! But all those and More are just some of the means for consumption, and most importantly for control of your media!

See, for me, PVRs are all about being in Control. Giving you, the Viewer, full control over your experience. From simply being able to Pause or Rewind what you’re viewing, to being able to Store, and Forward to Mobile phone or to simply get up and go to continue watching from another room in the house!

The other side of PVRs, something I also want to discuss, is your control of Media Choice! In Layman’s terms - You, the Viewer, should be able to choose to watch Anything Anywhere that you like to watch at that moment. Whether you’re in the mood for educational, entertaining, romantic or whatever content!

So, before I make this our official HUGEST* post ever, I welcome your comments about which topics you prefer me to focus on first, and of course I welcome any topics I didn’t mention. I am all about lively discussions and I promise to read all your comments — at least until we get few million readers, then I may retract this offer ;-)

[Shameless Promo]Which reminds me — TELL All your friends that most Awesome blog about how to take Control of your Digital Video has arrived!!! And Subscribe to our Feed Now, Pretty Please! [End Shameless Promo]

*HUGEST - Not actually a word, but HUGE didn’t seem nearly big enough for this post
