Sling Media, the makers of the Slingbox placeshifting device, was sued by an inventor of a wireless speaker system. Stuart Mershon, who invented a system that transmits audio via a wireless network, said that Sling Media’s Slingbox infringes on his patent.

Sling Media’s co-founder Jason Krikorian, said that the allegations were “totally without merit.”
